Aims & Scope
The Journal of Historical Science (Tarihbilim Dergisi) is a peer-reviewed journal predicated upon an inter-disciplinary approach to the study of history. While centrally situated within the discipline of history, the primary objective of the journal is to publish qualified scholarship pertaining to historicity without distinguishing between the natural and human sciences, thereby synthesizing theoretical paradigms with applied knowledge. Priority is accorded to submissions of high original value that transcend mere reiteration of extant literature, offer novel perspectives, and make substantial contributions to scientific knowledge.
The inter-disciplinary architecture of the journal encompasses a broad spectrum that transcends the natural-humanities divide, including fields such as public administration, international relations, urban and environmental studies, economics, literature, geography, medicine, and engineering. It is published bi-annually. Our short- and long-term strategic objectives include being indexed in prominent databases such as DOAJ, TR Dizin, and Scopus.
