Author Guidelines

Page Layout and Formal Requirements
- Page Size: 16x24 cm; margins 2 cm on all sides, 0 cm gutter.
- Typeface: Constantia, justified Microsoft Word format. Main text 11 pt, 0.3 pt paragraph spacing, 0.5 cm paragraph indentation, exactly 12 pt line spacing.
- Word Count: 6,000–10,000 words (excluding Extended Abstract).
- Emphasis: Avoid italics except for book titles and foreign terms. In-text quotations in double quotes ("..."); emphasis in single quotes ('...').

Title, Abstract, and Keywords
- Turkish main title: 12 pt, centered, bold. English title: 11 pt, centered, bold.
- Abstracts: 9 pt, exactly 12 pt line spacing. Turkish abstract max 250 words with 5 keywords.
- Extended Abstract: 750–1,000 words, 10 pt, placed after Bibliography.

In-text Formatting
- Block quotations exceeding three lines: 9 pt, 1 cm left indentation.
- Tables and figures must be numbered and captioned (9 pt, bold, below the visual).
- Institutional names written in full on first mention with abbreviation in parentheses.

Citation System
APA 6th Edition is the primary citation system.

- Book (in-text): (Berkes, 2012: 18)
- Book (bibliography): Berkes, Niyazi (2012). Türkiye'de Çağdaşlaşma. İstanbul: Yapı Kredi Yayınları.
- Article (in-text): (Reyhan, 2021: 6)
- Article (bibliography): Reyhan, Cenk (2021). "Bilimin Birliği", Tarihyazımı, 3(1), 1-23.

Footnotes
Footnotes should be 8 pt and used primarily for explanatory notes. Citations within footnotes must follow APA 6 parenthetical format.
