Submission & Review Process
Guidelines for Manuscript Preparation
Before submitting their manuscripts, authors are required to scrutinize the "Author Guidelines" and "Ethical Principles and Publication Policy" sections and ensure full compliance. Manuscripts must adhere strictly to the official template provided on our website. Submissions that do not comply with the template will not be accepted.
Submission Methodology
Manuscript submissions are accepted exclusively through our official platform, tarihbilim.org. The Journal does not accept submissions via email or in physical form. The Copyright Transfer Agreement must be completed and uploaded during submission.
Preliminary Editorial Scrutiny
Submissions are first subjected to a formal examination by the Editorial Board and secretariat for structural completeness and compliance with formatting guidelines.
Editorial Scope and Merit Assessment
Manuscripts satisfying formal requirements are reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief or Field Editors for alignment with the journal's aims, originality, and scholarly contribution. Out-of-scope manuscripts may be rejected without peer review.
Similarity and AI Screening
All manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using Turnitin or comparable software. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 20% (excluding bibliography) will be returned immediately.
Reviewer Assignment
Manuscripts passing the similarity check are assigned to at least two expert reviewers under a strict Double-Blind Peer Review system.
Review Timeline
Reviewers who accept the invitation have a maximum of 10 weeks to complete their evaluation and submit their report.
Editorial Decision
The editor conducts a comparative analysis of all reviewer reports and communicates the final decision to the Corresponding Author.
Author Notification and Revision
Authors are expected to address reviewers' critiques and upload the revised manuscript within the stipulated timeframe.
Final Manuscript Submission
Following editorial approval, the author uploads the final version including an English Extended Abstract.
Linguistic Scrutiny
The final manuscript is reviewed by the Language Editors before being placed in the publication queue.
